No. Our personalities are depended up on our brain's electrical systems and the way we've been brought up. When we die, the current will be cut off. Just like before we were born, when we were not yet "plugged in", we won't know the difference. And thats okay.

Dear Warped,
Our bodies are a shell, when we die we have no enemies so i think every one is a friend. It would be nice to keep our personality but then how about all those stuck up wanna Be's and just plain icky people? I want to be at peace not stuck with some personality that stinks

I would hope so, but realistically I would just be happy to have
made it to heaven with all the thing going on in the world today.

No, everyone will be too busy worshiping God to be your friend. In fact, you'll be too busy worshiping God to make any friends. Friends don't matter in heaven, only God.
I meant that to be sarcastic, as I am an atheist and don't believe in heaven, but now I'm thinking that some Christians will agree with it. Oh well.

Heaven is all about God and worshipping him. If you go there when you die...you won't need friends for anything.

No way dude, You're going to be "assigned" to that buck-toothed girl with the horrendous breath that was always chasing after you in the 2nd grade. And my advice is to grin and bear it for eternity, because you really don't want the alternative.
"Keep our personalities after we die" -- I'm sorry, your brand of stupidity is offensive to me. No offense.

The beautiful thing is, in Heaven, God's will is done.
Therefore, everyone there loves everyone else.
Neat, huh?

Your friends will be the same in heaven (or hell). They will be there even if they're not dead yet. Oh, and you won't be able to make new friends, what you had is what you get!
