God killed the unborn babies at Sodom and Gomorrah, and all those unborn at the time of the flood. If it's so bad, why does God do it?

good point and i don't think that abortion is a sin. that's why women are allowed only a certain period of time to have an abortion.

The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

What makes you think that there were any unborn children at Sodom and Gomorrah? Think about it.....maybe it was the lack of unborn children that made God so angry.

Realize that we are not God. He knows all and is the only one who can rightly judge when it is time to end a life. We really should not try to put ourselves on the same level as God.

Hi you are mistaken AboRTION IS COLD BLOODED MURDER a willfull killing of an innocent life for whatever reason . as for the Destruction of Sodom and Gomorah they were destroyed because they were completely wicked and they were violating Gods laws rmember abraham asked if there were 10 righteous people in the city would he spare it and since only God can read the hearts and minds of the people and know foe an absolute certainty something we humans cant do if you read the Bible you will note that the people were warned of the consequences of their actions in advance read theese scripture which are not in chronological order 1st Thess 4: 3-8 , Eph 5: 5 1st Cor 6 :9,10, 1st Tim 1 :9-11 Jude 7 Gen 19: 4,5,24,25, Lev 20: 13 Eph 4:17-19 , Rom 1:20-32 even before they were written down all knew the laws and obeyed them and lived according to them or ignored them and had to be dealt with so they chose to violate what is right and holy and had to face the consequences of their choice and since he is the creator of all things and has the right to decide what is right and wrong he being perfect and omniscient we who are sinners and always making mistakes have no right to second guess or judge him or his actions as they are always right 100%of the time hope that answers your question gorbalizer

God does not kill. Read the Bible. We are created in his image, which means we have the ability to create. Look at what we have created. Our earth is poisoned, humanity is become angered, and we kill each other for reasons we can't truly understand. Because of our Lord Jesus Christ, all sins are forgiven. Just ak him for that forgiveness. Sodom and Gomorrah is old testement. Jesus Christ changed everything, hence, the new testement. God is a warrior, and has judged the unrightous, but Jesus has delivered us from that. Check it out. Talk to a Christian Minister. But please, don't allow yourself to be decieved.....

God didn't "KILL" the unborn babies,he brought them to HIM which is the most glorious place to be.People who choose to abort their child choose to end a life for their own personal reasons.God is devine and does nothing without love.

Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

- god created evil, god claims hes murderous, god claims hes jelous, god claims hes an angry god (all of which are sins as well). - god commanded the death of a woman who spoke blasphemy, god killed the pursuers of moses through the red sea, god had samson kill 1000 philistines, god had david kill goliath.

Yeah, but you're forgetting the enduring "Do as I say, not as I do"

Funny, Aida, I thought the law determined that an abortion WASN'T murder.... hmph, gee, you've really given me something to think about.

Did you see him come and kill those children with your own eyes? He didn't kill them , they died and for that I'm sorry but get your facts straight. P.S. Any way there is a difference between kill and murder
