a week and a half ago my girlfriend of 2 years(who is 6 months pregnant) mom came over to her house in the morning and i was there,her mom hates me,.cause i got her daughter pregnant or something,.anyways,.she went off on me,for no reason ,..starting hitting me,.so i started going off and tryed walking out the house,..(did not touch her)she followed me out hitting me,when i turned aroung she socked me in the eye,..i was pissed,.didnt hit her,i spit in her face,..DID NOT HIT HER,...i called the cops,.no one was arrested but girlfriend broke it off,.said were over,.and it sucks. i really care about this girl,.i know i dont have to be with her to see my future daughter,.i have a 2 yr old boy from a previouse relationship,..but i havent talked to this girl for a week and a half,..miss her like crazy dont know what to do,.i disrespected her mom,.but did not deserve to get beat up,.it was uncalled for,..what should i do??? tryed to call her at work,she doesnt have a house phone,.please help!

whats with all the "haters" here. we aren't there and cannot judge. BUT, this girl sounds like she is doing ok, she lives on her own, has a job...you don't live with her? i also didn't hear the word "love" in there anywhere. you need to step up and be a dad, true, but you need to evaluate what kind of relationship you want with her and why. her mom is not the issue here. if you do the right thing for your child and stay a part of her life her mom will have to change her opinion about you. everything takes time, and actions speak volumns over words and apologies.

I seriously doubt you're telling us everything. I know very few ppl who will just "go off" for no reason. I have raised three daughters, all are adults and doing fine. What were you doing in "her house in the morning"? Have you no place of your own? Mom hates you b/c you got her daughter "pregnant or something"? Interesting. Spit in mom's face! For me, young man, (and I use the term MAN in it's broadest application) that would have been your undoing. She broke it off - SMART GIRL!! True, you don't need to be "with" her to see your daughter, but if a warrant is issued against you, you will only see your daughter under the eyes of a court deputy.
Back to spitting on mom for just a sec. This next comment is NOT directed at you personally. If - and this word is important - IF - someone did that to my wife in front of my daughter, the only thing that would prevent me from putting a bullet, or two, in their head would be my wife and my daughter!
Do yourself a favor. Do us all a favor. Leave this girl alone. And seek professional help for yourself! Life is ugly enough, I really do not wish to hear about you on some news program. My best advice as to "what do you do?"; Get help - and get it fast!

Well I'd say it's time to start looking for a number 3 to knock up. Then maybe you can get dissed all over again b/c of your not having a job and supporting the "girl" carrying your child, or... whatever. Moms are like that, yeah they are! Let us know how #3 turns [you] out!
Oh yeah, this time try to find a "girl" to knock up who has a father! Then at least you can hit him when he "goes off" on you and confronts you for the same ... something-whatever... the mom did. You'll probably feel better AND your "girl" will be impressed with your real display of true manliness!
Just leave the poor girl alone. She obviously don't need you, and you gave her everything you had - the kid. She'll have that for a lifetime.

you definetly need to call her mom and have a civil conversation about why she hates you. something tells me its cuz ur got her daughter pregnant. (duh) she's probably upset cuz she had high hopes for her daughter. most parents do, she probably wanted her daughter to go really far in life, and just cuz she's having a baby doesn't mean she can't, but it is not gonna be easy for a long time. don't presure your girl on getting back together and being a couple again, for now just show her that you're there for her even if she doesn't wanna be with you. be there b/c you want to be. of course her mom was wrong for blowing up on you but don't try and stress that when you get the chance to talk to her.

WOW! you spit in her moms face! It is gonna be real tough to get this girl back, if she has any respect for her mother. And I'm guessing that the baby was not planed since the mom is mad, so you should try pulling out sometime. To get this chick back you are going to have to go through the mother. You will have to get the mothers respect first.

oh wow.. you shouldve just tried to stop her since obviously youre the guy and youre a lot stronger than her. But I think you should talk to youre girl about it and make things work out because it's a really stupid reason to just break up like that. And its her mom's fault for christ sake so she should realize that. Just give her a call and I'm sure you guys will work something out. good luck

She'll come around. She's emotional right now due to the hormones but she knows her mom was wrong for hitting you and trust me, it's been on her mind. Just wait it out, you will get a call sooner or later with her apologizing.

how would you like it if someone spit on your mother?...you must have done something to get this woman to start beating the s*hit out of you! a reasonable person dosent just start beating on someone! so unless she is insane...you better get your tail between your legs and go back there ready to apologize and possibly cry beg and crawl.....and if it was my mother you spit on that still wouldnt be enough
