What was the reason for Muslism to invade Spain? was it just another political invasion or it had any religious motive? if it had any religious motive, why did Muslims invade it? why did not they simply some mission or scholars to teach them?

Actually to answer your question, the Muslims did a counter attack on the Christian Crusades and drove the Christians back from all the territory they had won over. There were seven crusades not just one. Once the Muslims got to Spain they kept going and decided to take land themselves before finally being stopped by the Crusaders. They (the Muslims) kept the land they took in Spain and settled becoming the "Moors".

The Muslim Group who invaded Spain (Moors) came mostly from Northern Africa which is near to Spain. It was normal in that historical period for different nations to invade their neighbor. Of course, religion was a good excuse to invade.
The Moors did leave their positive mark on Spain; even christian Churches has the Islamic structure....very, very beautiful.
It's really not fair to condemn Muslims who invaded others; the Catholics did the same; we can only blame History.
The Muslims were chased out of Spain with the help of the Great Spanish Warrior 'El Cid' this name was given to him by Islamic Moors who admired him as a great Christian Warrior. Modern Spain has benefitted much from the Moorish occupation. Visit Granada if you can and get a copy of the Movie 'El Cid' with Charlton Heston, Sophia Loreen. Wonderful movie.
