No black apostles. No way. Jesus was the only black one.

Are you kidding me, I'm a fricking demon!
I loved this movie. I'm not religious, but i loved the fact that it was basically still believing in religion, but it had a great line in it from chris rock. I'm paraphrasing of course, the main problem jesus has is all the crazy **** that gets carried out in his name, and the factioning of religions was a mistake, its better to have a good idea. Plus, the voice, had some great liines too.

Rather inaccurate. I don't doubt for a second that there are descendants of Jesus' brothers/sisters around today. However, Jesus father was not Joseph, it was God (Jehovah). His brothers/sisters were fathered by Joseph who was human, and two humans (Joseph and Mary) don't make a higher being (even if their half-brother is a higher being). So it doesn't matter if she was the great, great, great, etc. grandniece of Jesus, because she was descended of humans and so she is nothing more than human.

Accurate as in it really happened? 0%. I think you will have to be more specific about what part of the movie you are talking about.

Umm. Not at all. I am Roman Catholic, and while I was amused by the movie, it simply capitalized on misconceptions protestants hold about the Church.

It's just a movie, so I didn't let it get to me. So, yeah, don't take it seriously...

it was pretty accurate. Though the descandants of jesus actually lived in france and actually became royalty there and that his descandants were jewish like him. It is highly likely that there were black apposles and stuff like that. If your'e interested by these things i suggest the da vinci code. great book
