I'm 14 years old and I think my mom is being unfair. We were eating dinner and I started laughing at my brother because he has a lot of zits. My mom said that was immature, and I should be in diapers if I act like I'm 2. That made me laugh even more. So today my mom put me in a disposable diaper. Does anyone else think this is unfair?

Poor baby!

I agree with her, if you are going to act like a baby then you should be treated like a baby.

All these other cry-babies calling it abuse should be in diapers too, because they have no sense of what discipline really is. They wouldn't know what real discipline is if it hit them in the face.

Just take your punishment like a good baby girl and wear your diaper proudly.

Good luck and enjoy.

your mom did the right thing! at 14,you should be mature enough to know better.the diaper will remind you to act like a 14 year old.when i was 14,i acted like a 2 year old and teased my brother,so when i was confirmed i was made to wear a cloth diaper and plastic pants under my white confirmation dress.i was so humiliated!

Your mom has to realize that at 14, you're bound to be immature (no offense), and that it's normal (probably not very nice) to laugh at you brother because of something. That's what kids do.

The following is in the dictionary under Emotional Abuse.

Degradation - This occurs from the use of insulting behavior, such as vilifying, ridiculing, name calling, imitating and infantilizing. It aims to diminish the dignity and self-worth of the person, and affects their sense of identity in a demeaning way. Examples include: yelling, swearing, publicly humiliating or labeling a person as stupid or "evil"; mimicking a person's disability; or treating someone as though they were much younger than they are and preventing them from making normal decisions.
