I found one that i like and i got it from one of those off brand used car lots. I put 7 Grand down on the vehicle, and they were suppose to get a bank to finance the other 13 grand. I gave them the money, and they gave me the car. I signed all the paper work but they told me some bullshit like i couldnt get any paperwork because they had to be paid by the bank first. That was exactly a month ago, now i just called them because i never heard from them, and i aske them had my license plate came in, and they said no, and im like why would it take a month to receive my plate. I got my temporary plate, temorary registration, and insurance. THe girl on the phone let me know that im suppose to come pay the dealer ship my first payment, im like what the hell! Do I have to return the vehicle? this is not going to help my credit which was the purpose! I dont want my money back, but can they report it stolen? i didnt steal it! Im not making no payments unless its to a bank to help my credit.

you are being conned.

try to call them up and check what is the problem ? if they say that your loan was not approved which i think is the case try calling some credit unions yourself .

i have been a member of DCU (digital federal credit union) they dont mind if your credit history is poor. they lend you money depending on your salary.

If you are not concern about getting your money back, then do so. Me personally, I would want to make sure that they never did someone else like this. Try going with someone in your family who know how to handle business, and let someone know about the dealership.

With the 7 grand that you drop, you could have went to a known dealer and got a new car. 1 Grand was the most I have ever put down on a car, and it was a brand new Expedition. Down payments only makes the monthly payment about 50 dollars less per grand that you put down. By making payments every month and paying the car off would have built your credit up. This was a serious rip off if you ask me. Good Luck with your situation! I truly hope that everything will turn out to be okay.

I guess you should have went to the bank and borrowed the money, It appears they tried to find a lender and could not, so they had to self finace. Unless you have a written agreement with them to use a specific bank, you had better pay or sell the car and find another one.

If you do not pay, they will merely repo it and you will lose all the money you paid down.

If you needed a car and wanted one, now you got on,

READ your contract. You did not take a vehicle off their lot without signing something. You should have paperwork saying what the terms are, and my suspicion is they financed you. Do your homework on this before you get upset with them.

I can't believe you are willing to pay $20,000.00 for a used SUV. You should have been able to find one in almost new condition for the $7,000.00 you had to start with.

I am constantly amazed at the stupidity of people in general. How can you even find your way home?
