He either doesn't want to admit that he "likes" you or that he likes you as a friend. He probably likes the attention you and your friend give him. So he encourages it by talker to her about you.

Sounds to me like he does like you. I don't think he's ready to tell you yet. He's probably trying to see you for who you really are first. That way he can be sure if you're who he really wants to be with. I've said this so many time before, he's not going to let you in on his emotions. Try to look for signs like these: the way he looks,smiles, talks, and hugs you. Those are far most the most obvious. He already talks alot about you and that's one. Try it and you'll see. Try not to push the issue it might push him away and you don't want that. Good luck!

If he told you he didn't like you, then you should act like that is the truth no matter how else he might behave.
For all you know, he likes your friend, and since you are the topic they have in common, he talks about you in order to keep talking to her.

It could mean he's a gossipy boy, or it could mean he does like you, perhaps not in the way you want, but at least in a friendship type way.

dont let ur frend talk to him for u. U get to no him and see if he talks that way to u as well. U get to no him better, not ur frend. cuz evn if he reely dusnt like u now, if u talk to him, he mite start to. good luck!
