I am going to see carlos mencia live at the arlene schnitzer concernt hall on the 22nd of septmember (friday) I need a good priced hotel, and looking for some good night life (bars, clubs, lounges, sports bars) to go to after the show.. any ideas? Never stayed in portland..

I recently stayed at the Portland Regency - nice, central location, moderate price. Had drinks upstairs at Mim's, good selection of wines by the glass and cocktails. Also went to the Wine bar - cozy, funky, fun. Have a lobster roll at Portland Lobster on the dock.

Portland has some great microbreweries and a great jazz scene, check the local papers. Try these places
