I have gone through some tough times all at once and instead of making me closer to the Lord, I became very bitter and resentful because I thought life would be different.

I desire to put the past in the past and go foward.

Let the past go for you can't change it, and look forward and ask Jesus for guidance in all you do before you do it, so you dont have anthing to regrets.

Honey, when you figure that out, please let me know! I have dealt with the same thing for a long time. I try to get my mind on other things. Like the fact that all of these things are temporary. One day the troubles of this life will be over and if we are right with God, we will go to a place with no more pain, no more sorrows, no more memory of the past. I am holding on to that for dear life. I know that I will never be perfect this side of Glory.

Some of the things are very painful.
The thought come once in a while.
I have an angry response and then the though goes away.

We all want what you want, but it is in there. What happened happened.
You can't make it go away.

In time perhaps the thought will diminish in intensity.

God sent his Son, Jesus to die on the cross for ALL. If you accept Jesus as you Lord and Saviour, admit that He suffered, died on the cross, was buried and resurected on the 3rd day, ascended to be with the Father on the 40th day, you are granted forgiveness for all your past, present and future sins..... Sin is no longer IMPUTED upon you if you are a believer. God forgave you of all your sins, all of them, each and every one of them. It is our 5 senses that do not forgive ourselves... it is our guilt that convicts us... to get rid of guilt, just think of all that Jesus went through to forgive us all, while we were still sinners... if you are truly born-again, God does not "see" you as a sinner. When we err, we have already been forgiven. To repent means to
"change" our ways, our direction, to try and not continue to do what "convicts" us... God does not convict anyone anymore(since Christ's birth).... people don't go to hell because they are sinners.... people go to hell because they do not believe God and that his son, Jesus is our saviour.

I hope this helps.

I don't. God, through His Son has taken my sin and cast it into the deep sea.

I like what Corrie Ten Boom said: After my sin was cast into the deep, God put up a sign: "No Fishing"

Check her life story out.

encourger 4,A lot of info. missing, however, get in touch with the events emotions, pull them from inside and put them, briefly,on paper,Forgive those that you need to forgive, ask GOD to forgive you this defect of character as you burn the paper. If you can appologize or otherwise make amends to others "WITH OUT CAUSING FURTHER DAMAGE",then do so..ALWAYS TAKE GODS LOVING PRESENCE WITH YOU, it will influence the outcome of any event.stay in the "NOW".the only time you live is in this present moment. deal with events,'NOW". These are our trials and tribulations. The batterment of our faith. You don't forget your past, you learn from it, otherwise as times of old, history repeats itself as do our experience's.
