Thank you, I thought I was being paranoid, is this why they came up with the king size bar and the fun size bar? What's fun about having less chocolate anyway! I think they should rename the kingsize bar, the fun size bar, make a bigger bar and call it the kingsize bar, rename the regular bar the sorry bar and rename the funsize bar the tease bar.

I emailed Cadburys about Curly Wurlys several months ago. They said that they were made smaller in the 80s (about 20% smaller I believe) but that the price was adjusted accordingly at the time.

Just bought a box of curly wurlies from cadbury world and they are definately smaller.
I think of them as bit size now

Yes they are I went to cadbury's world and saw some adverts from years ago and they use to be loads bigger!! Wont be long before the fudge bar is the size of a penny sweet :(

Riddle me this. Are Americans the same size as they were in the 80's? I don't think so. Also too many americans like to supersize everything these days just to fill their unfulfilled need of being liked by other people. So go ahead and dig right in.

I'm told they are made progressively smaller as costs rise, to maintain the same price. It seems self-defeating since in the long run, we will need a magnifting glass.

Manufacturers reduce the size of the candy bar instead of increasing the price. When they do increase the price the size of the candy bar doesn't increase.

hahahha. i always thought they were smaller, but now i don't know. Curly wurly for sure is smaller. I'm worried about the size of my d ick now!!
