Good question. Yes it does but I can't figure the connection. Could you explain it to me?

Matthew 7: 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Here Jesus is telling the Nation of Israel not to give that which is Holy to the gentiles nor to cast their pearls before unbelievers. Here on this site there are many unbelievers that will never believe because they have been taught from childhood that there is no God or they believe in false gods. Today God is dealing with all people alike and we should tell all that the Lord Jesus Christ died for their sins. Galatians 3: 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

In this space, or on this site, it's more of an advisory of how you will be treated when you tell the truth about Jesus as you understand it. There is certainly no lack of "swine" who are more than ready to turn upon you to trample you when you speak for Jesus.
However, we must understand that this forum is a concentrated area where there are people seeking serious answers and a wide assortment of "fools" as Proverbs would call them, who are here only to give smart *** remarks and make fun.
So, the application of the passage quoted, as it applies to this site is to choose whom you answer carefully. If you answer a fool, you'll get trampled. If you answer an serious person, you will be a blessing.
The wisdom of how to do this is always available for hte asking.

yep, a lot of people waste a lot of time trying to rationalize with people who have no better motives than to mock and criticize and on't really care what the truth is.
The word says that when He is lifted up He will draw all men to Him. It is not our responsibility to try to beat the word into the heads of those that are just going to stoomp on it and trample it in the mud- we need to be living the life, being a witness with our actions and reaching out to those who are truly seeking the truth. They are being neglected while those who could be helping them are here feeding God's word to those who would just treat it like common rubbish. Get out of the pigpen God's people - plant the seeds of God's truth in the fertile grounds- it is all around you!

it is a poetic saying meaning not to give your precious things to those who will destroy it.
the swine referred to the gentiles, you and me, and the pearls jesus was referring to was the word of God that the jews have always had.

In my opinion this pertains to offering the blessings, benefits, and promises of God to unbelievers. We must present the bad news (sin, judgment, Hell) before presenting the good.

Yes. If you know a person is antagonistic toward spiritual thought, offer to them what obvious truth they need, but go no further - such people will despise you for your effort = don't be a fool.
