Absolutely not, If you have separate residences it will be easier. make a emergency plan. get the things you can't leave without, a friend who will get you at 3am if need be.
Make a conventional plan.
1) get a P.O. box and have all mail sent there.
2) prepare to use the emergency plan
3) move your stuff when he is at work
4) meet him for dinner someplace neutral a restaurant to break up straight from his work (same day)
5) Break up.
6) Never give him any hope of getting back together with you,

erm this is kinda a no brainer

NO no no no

you should not date a violent person untill they atleast address there problems and get some theropy

and if your with a violent person then try to discuss them getting some help for it, and if you cant talk to them about it then i would just leave them one day and go stay somewhere safe if you are scared of a backlash

hope everything turns out ok and you have good friends you can call on

Y not? I mean if she likes violent people, why shouldnt she date a violent person? But if she is forced to do that, then she should be courageous to repel him. She should show him that she is not afraid of him and make sure that he never manages to have his grip on her. She should be ready to reply to any of his attack. But if she loves him and wants the violent person to become good to her, then she will have to be very patient. She should love him even if he is showing sign of violence. She should make him realise that his violence is hurting her but despite that she is loving him. You know, if you are very patient, you can win anything you want in life with true love! Every person is not perfect. Everyone of us has good and bad characteristics. Some people might not be good looking but great at heart, some might be great looking but with no heart at all. It depends upon what you like. Your bf might be violent but am very sure he certainly have other good qualities for which you like him. I feel, you should give him a chance to improve himself and become the kind of person you like. And to succeed in doing that, you should do it with love.

No, don't date a violent person, ever! Just tell him you're not interested, maybe because you like someone else, or that you are seeing someone already.
