I need some guidance\help with an IRS audit of medical expenses.

Find as many receipts that you have kept. You can also go to your doctor and get an itemized billing of what you have paid. I believe that you can do the same thing with your pharmacy if you have prescriptions. Good luck! Most auditors won't mind if you are short a few receipts. Get as close as you can though. If you still feel overwhelmed your local H&R Block might be able to help for a charge.

Is your problem substantiation -- i.e. adequate records -- or is it determining what qualifies as a medical expense?
