That is an awfully sweeping question there. I have seen many "normal" people dressed in funny clothes and hats. I have seen religious fanatics dressed very conservatively. The haircuts and beards on Jewish men are part of their belief system, as is the yarmulka(sp?) they wear on their heads to show respect to the Lord. I am at a loss as to how to rationalize your though processes but I suppose since I am not given to gross generalizations or assinine comments I will just have to take this 2 points and run.

funny how backwards ppl like u r aint it! when a woman is walking down the street with bra and knickers on its NORMAL but when a person is wearin a long dress its stupid!
your teaching ur children that naked is fyn and dressing modest isnt. and then u wonder why people are raped in this country so much!!

pope is nothing more then a political figure. hes got all that riches around him while people are starving and still calls himself a christian. - isnt there a verse claiming, easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle then a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven?

Religious fanatics always wear stupid looking hats and dresses I think because everyone has different ways to show their religious customa and fanatism. They also have different cultures.
