I spent two weeks with this guy and they were great, after our first date he told me he was still getting over this girl that didn't want him. But we still spent lots of time together, and he was really romantic.
So after those two weeks I went on a vaction to London and then Denmark. I was gone for a total of 6 weeks. Know that I am back and mutual friend of ours told me that he still had feelings for this other women. But the thing is, this other women sometimes says she likes him and sometimes she doesn't, I really like him but I don't know if he will ever feel the same. We still spend time together, and have a great time, I just don't know if I should go for it or not. What do you think????

Before you take that big step of going for him, sit back and make him tell you exactly what his feelings are for his ex. I'm not trying to be mean or rain on your happy parade, but if he still has strong emotional ties to this other woman the best thing to do is back off. Help him see why she is no good for him, but if the ties to her seem weak then by all means open yourself up. Don't wait till its to late, just make sure he's emotionally ready for what you have to say.

Have you asked him, instead of basing your thoughts on what someone else has said?
Maybe you could start there and see what he says. The conversation could progress from there and you could then be sure of where he stands and what your next move should be. Chances are he does care for you if he's spending time with you.

You can try. Maybe he will fall for you and forget about this other woman, but at the same time, he might still want her and leave you for her if she changes her mind again. Think about that. I personally wouldn't want to get involved right now.
