there are many secular events already going on.

most non-christian pride events happen on friday and saturday nights at the pub. However we do not exclude christians, they come out and drink, dance, and hook up just like the rest of us.

I guess the only difference is they have to pay 15% on sunday to feel better about doing that.

Considering how Christians overall (not all of them but the vast majority of those who claim to be Christian) I find it hard to be proud to be a Christian. The only reason that I am is that I know that most of those in that vast majority who claim it but don't act it are not what real Christianity is and that I can claim truthfully that I am a real Christian because I haven't left the realm of reason. So those who aren't Christian I could see being proud of it enough to even start a parade for it because they can truly feel they haven't left the realm of reason because they aren't one of these nutjobs like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell.

Hopefully we won't have to resort to that...

Edit - Itsyourspam... Uhm, this may come as a shock to you, but the US prison population is 1% atheist (while atheists represent 15% of the whole population in the US). The rest are your folks. Odd thing, isn't it? Perhaps you might look into why that is?

Is there a Christian Pride day? No.

Why is that. You gotta march around New York and way flags to get people to notice you?

No. There aren't many organizations of atheists.

People tend to congregate based upon what they DO believe, not what they DON'T believe.

The christians could change that however, if they continue attempts to put christian philosophy into law.

I hope not we already have to much controversy going on in the world. Everyone just needs to stop judging others and try to love one another for who they are.

There already is. Look at the prison populations and all of the satanic cults.

I hope so.
Non-christian doesn't mean Anti-christian
There is a big difference.

There could be someday, but there shouldn't be in my opinion! Why can't we just personally stick to our beliefs? It's nice to be proud of what you believe, but it would be kind of insulting, wouldn't it?
