Lets say someone smokes 4 spliffs in 4 hours, can he die?

No no no and ummm no. weed is NON toxic unlike alcohol. You can't overdose. There has been times though that a smokers heart gave out, but that's because it's a stimulant and increases heart rate. The human heart can only take so much. But chances of that are very, very low. Actually it only happened to one person. As far as i know. Never mind don't listen to me.

No one has ever died directly from marijuana use. But yes it is technically possible to overdose on weed, I believe you need to smoke about 1/4 of your weight within 15-20 minutes or something along those lines, still realistically impossible though.

It's impossible. The cannaboid receptors in your body are located in areas of the brain (and body) controlling emotion, mood, balance, appetite, etc... (what you would expect) but not at the lower, more primitive areas in the brain like the brainstem controlling things like breathing and regulating heart function. The same certainly doesnt hold true for alcohol and nicotine, however.

I doubt that some died just from smoking marijuana alone, but if you dont know how to smoke at all and you choke or something it is possible and you dip it into liquor or something but other than that i dont think so

No it is physical impossible to overdose on Marijuana....Its like pounds and pounds in like less than an hour.... or somethin very crazy. It will never be done.
