aka, a mutt? I know they are horrendously overpriced seeing as how they're nothing more than mutts with a witty name, but what kind do you have? What do you think is the cutest? What do you like best about it?

I have a dog that I adopted from a local shelter. I paid the shelter a donation of 75 dollars. She is the best dog I could have ever gotten period. I would never pay some breeder for a designer breed. Lots of dogs are being put to sleep who are perfectly good dogs.

I love my little mutt. I have a 4 month old Yorkie/Chihuahua mix. I named her Shasta. She weighs just a little over 4 pounds. I took her on a roadtrip this last weekend. 7 hours each way in the car with 2 breaks and not a sound out of her. Guess we'll do more traveling in the future since she does so well with it.

I have a half Pom half Chihuahua. She's the best dog, way better than the Pomeranian I had before her. Nicer, camler, and more affectionate. The Pom was her mother. I was mortified when she got impregnanted by the Chiihua, but now I'm super happy with my mutt.

I don't have one and i think you are right...why are some people paying over 500 for a mixed dogs....you can find papered pure breed dogs for these than that.....Like labradoodles....WHY....know I have seen some dogs like mini great danes...they are pure great danes they are just breed down to be only about 24 in tall. At least that is what I am told....who knows...I have britaannys and GSDs. I don't think I would ever pay that much for a dog that was not pure and papered.

I hate the name "designer breed". I am allergic to alot of different kinds of dogs, so I got a goldendoodle, who I adore and who does not upset my allergies. If you are going to get upset at someone who buys a "designer breed" then you should get mad at anyone who buys a pure bred dog, bc they did not get their dog from the shelter either. I have both adopted dogs in the past and bought them and I am not going to be made to feel bad about that.
