Hey Superman,

From the perspective of GENEALOGY, vital records get real confused. There have to be MALE and FEMALE parents for each child. So, the DNA is a good way to cut through children of Gay marriages genealogy. Basically, if two Gay men adopt a child, the child may be 50% genetically theirs. Same with Lesbiens, but one would have to have the child or donate her eggs.

If adoption is how they have kids, no genetic connection. That really confuses records down the decendant tree.

From a moral perspective, do what you want.

I don't think any think of them.. they don't bother and I don't bother them. The worst type
of people are those that go around assuming
someone to be gay and if the someone says they ain't then the accuser insulter justs says
oh he's in denial or he's in the closet! Even when a person ignores the accuser insulter then says He says he ain't! Even though the accused never said any such thing! Insulters, putdowners, ridiculers are far worse than any
gay! I don't want to deal with either!

Well, because I have met every single gay and lesbian on the planet, I know that I am well qualified to answer this question.
Some are nice. Some are not. Some are proud. Some are ashamed.
Some other people (like you!) should not use a person's sexuality as a gauge of whether you like them or not.
Even if you are violently opposed to what they - I should really say "we" - do, then ask yourself why your opinion matters on who they are having relationships with.
I may think your girlfriend/boyfriend is the skankiest, ugliest, most ignorant person on the planet.... but is it anyone's concern what I think?

As long as they cite their sources and have notes, they are fine with most genealogists. Whether to put adoptive parents in the "Parent" field for children is the single most disruptive question in genealogy circles. So, that can raise problems if they adopt.

Genealogy is the study of family trees. 30% of the Q here are mis-categorized. I suspect yours is too, but if not, Rust Skipper gave you the best answer.

I don't really. What's to think about? Oh you mean do I think it's wrong or right? It's neither. It just is. I'm just black. It's neither right or wrong. There isn't anything I can do about it. There is nothing I should do about it. I was born that way. I do think discrimination is wrong. And people obsessing about the private lives of others is wrong and weird. I think oppression and intimidation and bigotry are wrong. I think love is right.

Genealogy is the study of family roots. Your question is in the wrong category.

At least 10% of the population is homosexual so they are OK by me. I have never met one I didn't like.
