OK, so i used to be best friends with this girl.While i was best friends with her, I liked this guy. Me& her both would talk to him on the phone alot. The guy & I havnt talked in like a year, and i always wondered why, but never had enough courage to ask him. I just recently quit hanging out with my so called best friend. She really wasnt who i thought she was @ all. It really hurt. I lost alot of people who i thought were my friends. But anyways, I think she told the guy some things about me that were not true & things i said about him that arent true. Whenever I see him out somewhere, he doesnt even look my way anymore, and i know for a fact he used to like me. I would really like to staart talking to him again, but i dont know what to do.
please help me out.

People grow in and out of phases all the time; for starters, there was a time you're ex-best friend was really fun to be around, but something set her off and now you can no longer be friends (jealousy, probably). What you need to do is talk to this guy and tell him what happened, as well as tell him that if your ex-friend said things about you to this guy that he should have gone up to you first, instead of just jumping to conclusions. If he still can't forgive you, then he isn't worth spending your time on him.

I think you should call him and talk to him... like you said maybe the chick ran her mouth about you, and you can't really blame the guy if he never heard your side of the story.

Just talk to him and tell him what you are thinking and how you are feeling.. He may have been told you didnt like him
