There are more than 630 muscles in the human body. There is no universally agreed upon list, so no one can truthfully give you an exact "correct answer." For instance, anatomists may debate about whether some "parts" of the body are one muscle or two distinct muscles.

Each muscle belongs to one of three categories: skeletal muscles which move bones, smooth muscles which control involuntary movements such as breathing and digestion or cardiac muscle which is found in the heart.

weight loss--I mean serious weight loss should start with a doctor doing a check up--and then simply changing the entire diet and eating habits---You have to have nutrients for all of you organs and brain to work PROPERLY. Minerals and vitamins are NECESSARY for everyday body functions. FAT is from the wrong foods---it is eating junk and sugar and all the wrong things for many years--it will take a long time to lose the weight but it will be done PROPERLY and you will stay healthy. Coconut oil and pills work for the company making the claims--or they would never sell anything and make money. THERE IS NO EASY WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT. Eat healthy--get out of the house and move around--and save your money---don't buy stupid stuff that does not work or can be dangerous and only offer false hope to people. So relax and smile and decide to eat healthy--take your time and be happy with who you are. Good luck to you.
