She was a sweet old lady and died peacefully in her sleep.
If the whole Pearly Gates and Saint Peter version of Heaven is correct. Do you think she will be surprised when she is standing behind a guy from Australia shouting, "Crikey! It got me! That bugger was fast! It just curled up and got me right it the chest. Crikey!"

No - I think if that version of Heaven would be true, you would expect everyone in the queue to be talking about how surprised they were that they died.

I think she will more likely be surprised at how this very young man (44!) is so open and enthusiastic - truly delighted with god's creatures and seemingly wanting nothing more than to get into their world and share their beauty with all of us.

Peace!

I'm sorry for your loss... and you question made me smile.

I'm picturing Steve Irwin, with a tiny St. Peter pinched by the wings between his thumb and index finger saying "Crikey! One bite from this little blighter and it's straight down! They're realy quite gentle, though...."

And don't worry about the people criticizing you. I think it's great that you can celebrate the woman your grandmother was and inagine her enjoying her time with newfound friends. Whoever said she'll hear some kick*ss stories was right! Raise a glass to Grandma and Steve.

I am sorry about your grandmother and I am happy for her that she went peacefully. But the poor woman will not have much peace in Heaven with all the shouting of "Crikey!" She may be back yet.

Sorry about your grandmother. As proper as she may have been. I believe nothing in Heaven comes as a surprise and she is probably having a hoot up there. Just remember she is always with you and is not looking upon you shacking her head saying " i love you" and they way you think.

Sorry for your loss, but don't disrespect the loved ones of others. Steve Irwin was a wonderful man and left a father, wife and 2 small children behind.

Uh...I don't know what to make of this question...but if you're telling the truth, then I'm sorry to hear that your grandmother died, but glad that she went peacefully. :) And maybe she and Steve can become friends and she can assist him with his next expedition...the Angel Diaries...lol j/k, just trying to make you smile.

I'm sorry about your Grandma. And yes, I could hear Steve Irwin saying that. As for the Pearly Gates, I guess we'll have to wait and see that for ourselves.

if ur granny is really no more then -- "may her soul rest in peace and may God show His mercy on her and protect her."
second half of the question, is so crazy. may be u will get to know the answer once u reach upstairs (i mean Heaven/Hell -- depends on ur deeds).

if its fake granny, then what an i say except that -- u r lost.

I am so sorry that you lost your grandmother.. I always tell people who are not nice to their mother.. father.. grandmother, etc that they must try to remember that we have only ONE mother, one father, etc and to treat with respect because when they pass on, you are then left without a mother, etc.
