In a mental flash I see the action I desire to take but until recently have not acted upon it. Eg. I was doing some dishes and a housemate threw a spoon in to the sink, In a flash I picked up the spoon and threw it at him hard. It felt really good and I laughed to myself, then I felt bad and apologised. More and more I have these urges to hurt people who annoy me. I don't want to be a psycho. Is there a mental condition associated with this type of behaviour.

Well, the laughing afterwards seems a bit 'off' or crazy. If lately, some 'annoying' behaviors of others feel more 'threatening' to you so you act or feel like retaliating. If you thought to throw the spoon and imaged it bonking off someone's head and giggled to yourself and be thankful that you didnt actually follow through, I'd say youre ok. You could be stressed or depressed or hormonal or on drugs or such. Just keep an eye out in the future and 'check' yourself. If you feel you cant cope or your reactions are progressively worse...go see a doc. It's good that you 'recognize' this now and get it under control. Good luck dear.

Yeah, there can be. Your best bet is to talk with a professional about it however. It can be a chemical imbalance, but it can also be something much deeper. They may be put down a lot, but you never really know how it is until you actually go find someone to talk to about your problem.
Start with any mental health agency, social workers will usually try to help you out, and if they can't they will send you to someone who can.
Good luck.

Sounds like you have obsessive compulsive disorder with a touch of mania added to it. Are you Bipolar? Do you ever take medication to help you control yourself. Maybe you should see a psychiatrist if you are hurting people and liking it. That isn't normal behavior. See a therapist of shrink.

not sure if it's a condistion mainly self control!
i think we all get these erges but acting onthem is where our self control comes to play! but i know my hormones sometimes make me act out a little...
But over all i say it's self expression issues!
looks like we both have them now that i think about it!
apparently we are not saying what we want to so our actions are being edged along! Wow i just reallized this for my self
