Omnipotence and Omnipresence are attributes of the Almighty. The Bible says that God rested on the seventh day to consecrate it. In other words, he made it a holy day, or holiday. This holiday is to be observed as long as the sun rises to commemorate the creation.
Levitical law placed heavy restrictions on what could be done on the Sabbath. When Jesus came to earth, he was accused of breaking the Sabbath laws. His reply was that the Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. It is a day of rest and a gift of God; Also, God would like you to remember Him and how he created the worlds in six days....

He was not tired, he just finished his work, and settled himself on the Throne.

Your Guardian Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then He settled Himself on the Throne. He draws the night as a veil over the day, each quickly following the other. And the sun and the moon and the stars are all under His command.

Surah 7:54

God was setting an example for us...to rest on the 7th day. He does not get tired.

We as humans have a hard time wrapping our minds around concepts like "omnipotent." We still yearn to understand God, even though it's hard.

Therefore we describe God in human terms. I don't think God needed to rest, but the idea that he worked so hard is pretty impressive. It demonstrates in human terms how much He loves us.

People get tired. That is why, when they write books that claim to be the source of all knowledge, they work little things in for themselves, such as a day of rest. I can just see that monk sitting there in his little cell, transcribing day and night, thinking, "Aha! I've got it...I'll tell them that God rested on one of these days, then everyone else will want to do it too and I will get a break one day a week, ha ha ha!"

God was showing us that we need to rest, "six days shall you work, but on the seventh day you are to rest."

He didn't get tired and rested in the literal sense like we do. In the seventh day he finished creating the world, and like an Artist who has created a piece of beautiful art stops after he finishes to enjoy what he created, so did g-d stopped to gaze at his world and get pleasure from what he created, it's like sitting back and relaxing,

Who is the one who say God had to rest on the 7th day. I think he is the one who had to rest on 7th day.

The correct intrepretation about these is `Rest your mind at the 7th point and seek God there'

But do you know where is the 7th point in your body ?

God was not resting in the way that we rest. Since he has unlimited power, he can create infinite numbers of anything he wishes. He 'rested' in the sense that he COMPLETED his creation on the seventh 'day'. All his work was finished, so he stopped creating.
