I hear ya on this one!! Although I love fruit. But I would try to find healthier alternatives to the things you like to munch on. Baked chips instead of fried, yogurt covered pretzels instead of chocolate, drink lots of water too! That helps me. I'm also trying to lose weight so trying to take my own advice here.... Check labels, eat lots of veggies (without dip) and remember portion sizes. I try not to deny myself, if I want a ding dong I have one, not 3. And don't beat yourself up if you eat 3, just be more careful the next time! Good luck!

I have lost ALOT of weight, bananas are the key for cravings...I know you said you really don't care for fruit, but it is a miracle fruit..eat lots of fresh raw veggies, and if you must dip them, allow yourself 1 TBS and no more, skip the sodas and drink tons of water
And if you REALLY need something sugary or salty, give in cautiously..have a cheat day only once a week where you eat all you want and everything you want..that way your body does not begin to store fat

Real nice errinella- now I am craving sweets, see what you've done...
seriously I would drink more water all day long it keeps you a little more full and its not bad for you. I am a coffee/chocolaholic I just draw a line I need my coffee but want my chocolate..
Don't go cold turkey (which is heathy by the way) or you will most likely fail, allow yourself some room to cheat (within reason)
Good luck

You cannot easily stop the cravings. The best you can do is not give into them... Then after weeks of not giving into your cravings you'll notice that they won't have the same power over you... But they'll still be there....
I've found that aerobic exercise reduces my cravings quite a bit sometimes... long walks, hikes, or bike rides seem to work best for me...
Hope the weather is nice where you are..... :) Good luck.

Drink water and eat high fiber foods. If you don't like fresh fruit, how about canned or dried fruit? Air-popped low-salt popcorn is good too. Check out the free website at www.sparkpeople.com.

Chocolate is my addition. Two things that seem to work well for me are Hoodia and/or Power-Pops with Hoodia. "Real" Hoodia is an amazing appetite suppressant, and the Power-Pops taste great; satisfy my sweet tooth.
Take a look at the Fake Hoodia Report.

throw away all your sweet snacks, filled your fridge with celery, carrots, apples etc etc, they are healthy and filling, get out of the house, do some gardening, go for a jog to take your mind of food, good for the heart too!! checked with your doctor before you start any strenuous exercise, paste a picture of a pig on your fridge door, & label it "ME"
