Not everybody experiences one night stands. Some people think that they are wrong and some people think that they are right, it's an individual choice. I think we should be free to do what we want as long as it is done safely and wisely. I've had a couple, I enjoyed myself at the time and never once felt degraded or used afterwards. I engaged in them sober and with my eyes open. I don't think I'd have one now though (apart from the fact I'm in a relationship!), my sexual taste has changed since I was an undergrad. It's always fun to experiment, just do it safely, with both parties fully consenting. And if this is the direction you want to go, make sure you get yourself checked out regularly for any nasty surprises!!

Remember, 'ANy gal' could have AIDS or some kind of STD nad then what? You'll get something you'll regret for the rest of your life! So I don't know if the chance is worth what you would be losing out on in the future if you're unlucky- one night of sexy fun could lead to rest of your life being without a partner due to illness.
I'm not saying don't do it- I'm saying there's a serious risk

Nah.... one night stands arnt my thing either.... as i easily develop a guilty conscience....
but if you have to get your end away with a drunken slapper, wear protection (a crash helmet is not sufficient) because you get an STI, which means no end of trouble (most can be treated, but some are lethal and will probaly kill you or make your life a misery).
Just watch out for chlamidia (mind the spelling) as it is undetectable in most cases and could leave you infertile if left untreated!

before i got with my current boyfriend i had a few coz i was sick of men using me.
they are good at the time but afterwards in the morning or when you next see that person it can get awkward.
its up to you to decide if your losing out.
if you want one go to a local nightclub and buy a gal you want drinks and take her home...

Iv'e had two or three, but actually they kind of turned into several night stands, except for one which was a really drunken stupid thing. It's exciting and great fun generally but not something to attempt with eyes closed...

I've never had a one night stand . You aren't missing out on anything. think of all the diseases out there. Being with one perosn makes moe sense.

They are horrible, they make you feel cheap and used and dirty. Be grateful you've not had the experience. The only thing you can get out of it is an STD!
