Huggies makes a size six possibly seven. All I do is get a size or two bigger it works great. My 15 month son sleeps 12 to 14 hours with no leaks I've never tried a specific overnight diaper but I had leaks with Pampers and Luvs. Good luck

I honestly think that it's just because he's going 12 hours with out a diaper change... If you have tried huggies and Pampers and target brand... The problem is when they are so little like 1.5 years old you can't cut to much of their fluid intake. I can only suggest what I had to do with my son. I had to try to change his diaper to break up the night. I didn't want the poor guy to sit in his urine for hours and get a rash. The only other thing that you can do maybe is to buy "overnights" for older kids who wet the bed, I'm thinking it might work just because the badder of a 7 or 8 year old is bigger than that of a 1.5yr old. You might have to rig up something to get them to fit better? It would only be at bed time anyways

Well, you are not alone. My daughter was in size 2 Huggies, but at night they would bunch up in the front and she would end up wet. So I started using the size 3 only at night, since they would be higher, but there have still been certain times when she would be wet. The limiting fluids ideas seem common sense, but I don't think I would do it personally. I would feel too mean! lol
Huggies have been good to us since I started using them, so I suggest either cutting back on drinks before bed, or just dealing with the occasional wet pj's and bed sheets.

This has been happening with my daughter at night. She is 21 months old and is wearing pull ups. The pull ups don't keep her dry at night. I think it is most likely due to drinking too much fluids before bed. The best solution is not to switch diapers it is reduce the fluids. I know it is hard when they are demanding and you are tired and just want them to go to bed. I am gonna have to get tough with my daughter and cut down on fluids. Huggies are really great diapers, probably one of the best.

I've never found anything better than Huggies. Ii've had twins (now 8) and have a 9 month old, and every time i try something else its a disaster! Stick with the huggies. Try changing bub at last possible moment... I'm surprised! Best of luck!...

35 lbs sounds like a lot for a 17 month old! Of course I do not know how tall he is. It would probably benefit his health if you held back on milk a little and also help with the overnight peeing.
Also another thing, if it's not really bothering him and there is nothing you can do about it, it's not a big deal. My son leaked through alot during a certain period of time and I just layered his bed with little blankets and removed the top one when it got wet.

I hav enever had a problem with pampers except when I needed a bigger size try going to a bigger size in them if you don't have a bigger size in the huggies. This is wierd because I always had leaks with huggies and never with pampers and you are the opposite.

Our son leaks out of Huggies, too; he does much better in Tendercare diapers (which we get from our diaper service; I've also seen them at Andronicos). They're made with cotton & wood pulp, instead of the gels that most disposables use now, so they're bulkier, but they work better for us. Tushies diapers, made by the same company, are even thicker. Good luck!

Pull ups don't hold alot! I pampers cruisers but I have to change my son in the middle of the night or he leaks. Try not giving as much liquid before bed that will help
