We believe in the existence of the angels of Allah and that they are "honored servants. They do not speak before He does, and they act only by His command" (21:26). Allah created them, and they worship and obey Him. Those who are in His presence do not disdain to worship Him, nor do they weary" (21:19).

Each of us has two angels who accompany him. These angels take note of
everything we do. They write down our good deeds and our bad deeds. We call
these angels the Writing Angels. There are other angels, too. For example,
there is an angel who helps people when they die. This angel brings death, so
we call him the Angel of Death.
We cannot see the angels because they are made of things which our eyes cannot
see. But all the same, we know that they are there, because Allah has told us
so. Sometimes, we can even feel the presence of these angels.

Angels are people who have lived on this earth and passed on no angel that has visited this earth is from another planet. There are three types, First the Resurrected angels have a physical body and have been resurrected by God to do certian things, The second is Righteous men who have yet to be resurrected they give their message but will not allow you to touch them. The third are Satan and his hosts, Fallen Angels, they like to make themselves out to be Angels of Light but are in fact liars, and deceivers.

Angels are like the actual servants of God, and we are actually children of God.
In the context of spiritual matters, Angels are created lower than us, but more in power (less in authority).
Once we cross to the other side of heaven, we will be way above the angels, in any aspect.
So, we human need not envy the angels, for they are created to serve God, and we are created to fellowship with God.

Dear Nameena N,
Yes this is a reality that Islam is a Truth.
But Will you please tell me who are they who are throwing bombs? Who are killing several innocents? Who are burning trains, hotels, schools, madrasas, masjids, temples, and what not? What is Jihad? Is Jihad is the name of killing all who are not the followers of Islam? If yes, then you are not a true Islam follower, you are mistaken.
See the teachings of Holy Kuran Sharief, in one of the Ayats, it is written that all the muslims try to be so pure, truthful, helpful, serving and talking sweet words and set a example before non believer of Islam. Even help the non believers and they will themselves join the holy Islam.
Converting with the help of sword is a sin even in Islam.
LOOK INTO YOURSELF AND THINK WHETHER YOU ARE A TRUE FOLLOWER OF ISLAM? IF YES, THEN YOU ARE AN "ANGEL"; DO NOT GO ANY WHERE ELSE, FIND THE ANGEL IN YOU.Thanking you,
Yours,
rsjrsj
P.S.: Please excuse me if any of my word hurts you or any body else.

They are the pure spirits that God created before he created humans. There are 9 choirs of angels and here are what they were created for:
1st Choir: The Angels, these are charged with the execution of Divine ordances and they are appointed the guardians of men.
2nd Choir: The Archanges, these are the guardians of Church and State and are remarkable for their love and care of men.
3rd Choir: The Principalities, these watch over empires, provinces, dioceses, etc. They also work to avert the effects of Divine Wrath if we call upon them.
4th Choir: The Powers, have unlimited power over demonic spirits; they have great intelligence and are able to discover schemes and plans for our destruction.
5th Choir: The Virtues, have energy and strength. They have power over the elements (such as wind, rain, etc). They have the power to help us overcome depraved sins.
6th Choir: The Dominations, they manifest the Will of God. They have the greatest zeal and help us to also have zeal if we ask them.
7th Choir: The Thrones, these are Angels of Peace. They promote peace of soul, calmness and tranquility. We call upon them in times of anger or impatience.
8th Choir: The Cherubim, these contemplate the beauty and perfections of God and will help us to also do so if we ask.
9th Choir: The Seraphim, these are the highest Angelic beings. They have great and ardent LOVE and if called upon they will instill Love in us also.
This information was taken from the book, DEVOTIONS TO THE HOLY ANGELS, printed in Ireland in 1948. It may be out of print, but I may be able to get some copies which would be old, but in good shape. Write me if interested at :

Angels are the servants of God and they were created from light. They are beyond the realm and reach of human comprehension. They do not have freedom of action and can only carry out the command of God.

Angels are spiritual creatures of pure energy with intelligence and free will. They were created in nine different Choirs, or ranks. They were created before Man.
Who are they? It is generally accepted that they are God's messengers and servants.
