nor is that true for any religion i know.
with all the emphasis on Muslims,and Islam in the press and on TV not just in the UK but worldwide I believe that the open minded amongst the populations, would not just react to the press coverage of terrorist dressed as Muslims, but read the information available about Islam and the ideology, just as we know that not all Catholics are in the IRA. OR even sympathetic to their cause. I am not a Muslim,nor am i a Catholic, that does not mean that i have not looked at their respectful ideologies.

No one may judge or know a religion before discovering about its true meaning. Do some research and ull find truth in Islam.

Because Christianity and Bible were modified right after Jesus Christ(PBUH) was taken to the heavens. He did not die(as Christians believe) he'll return on earth before the Dooms day. The same Jew(John) who planned to hang and kill Jesus(PBUH) later converted to Christianity and was the first modifier of Allah's(GOD) message revealed on Jesus'(PBUH). The Bible of today is not in the exact shape as it was at the time it was revealed on Jesus(PBUH). It was being modified. Qurran is the only Holy book which is in the same form as it was revealed on Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). Qurran is the continuation of Gods messages. Jesus(PBUH) was the Prophet of God not son. Adam is the first Prophet and Muhammad is the last Prophet. Qurran is the last message form God. You need to study about Islam before judging it. To all the non Muslims: Have ever seen a miracle sent by God as a proof of ur religion? Islam has so many miracles sent by God. Does anyone know about the miracle Fish bearing Allah found in Rossendale, Lancashire, UK?Today I read in a newspaper that another fish was found in Kenya bearing a Qurranic verse "WALLAHO-KHAIRUR-RAZIQEEN." These r not the only miracles. Allah has said in the Holy Qurran“Soon we will show them our signs in the regions, and in their own souls, until it becomes manifest to them that this is the truth.” There is a forest near my town named Ziarat where Allah is written naturally between the forest.
I saw another miracle on TV which showed a Aubergine bearing Allah on one half and Muhammad(PBUH) on the other. I saw another picture in a Mosque which showed Allah witten with clouds. Don't you think it is a clear sign of Allah's existence. Just wanted to know ur opinion.If u guys know about any such miracles plz share it.To all the negative thinkers:Dont't answer a question just to shoot down someone else's beliefs. Move on to the next questions and say nothing. Better yet, learn something!if it doesnt mean anything to u it might to others

i also invite u to Islam. Research on ur own abt Islam. Read The Holy Quran, Read Books of Hadiths (Prophet's Sayings), Research by Authentic Reliable Books & Sites (Don't count on sites that defame Islam, 'coz they spread mis-information and misconceptions abt Islam, and they cant even back up there claims with sufficient proofs, thus they are basically rambling Falsehood abt Islam). Do all this research on ur own and dont believe in anyone's hearsay (Not even mine). May GOD (ALLAH) guide u on The Path of Seeking The Truth. Peace to All.

Everyone is free to make their own decision. They felt it was the truth and so they decided to convert. I too heard alot of people in texas converted to Islam. I didn't know about UK though.

because islam is a very good religion to be part of its only the radicals who put it down in the name of islam but a true islamic person is friendly kind and hard working so dont let the radicals put people off.
Me personaly i dont have any religion but im not against any and would never put a religion down as long as it is not harming others and islam is not harming anybody its just the terrorists who use it an excuse for the murder and destruction they are doing

Never heard of that before and I am not sure where you get your facts from. Would be interested to know. There is certainly a lot of current affairs news about Islam and the publicity alone is good for new believers to any religion. Could be that or the extremist side they are interested. Violence is a huge part of society and it is one excuse being used at the moment wrongly or rightly.

Religion in its highest form should be the way that people can experience themselves as brothers and sisters being all children of the one Father. If religion was in its proper condition it would not matter what religion people "converted" to, as all religions would lead to harmony, peace, love, and respect for life.
Religion in its lowest form merely creates factions and mutually antagonistic groups. As a result, some of the greatest evils in the world have been perpetrated in the name of religion, and continue to be to this day as we all know.
It is said that God created man in his own image, where really it is man who has created God in his own image - judgemental controlling, laying down laws, and rules for everyone, and no sense of humour.
It is sad to hear of anyone "converting" to any religion, if, by doing so, they are not involving themselves in something which will lead to their becoming better human beings, and the world becoming a better place.

I don't think the number is significantly large but I expect the religion gives them a sense of disipline. Either that or they just love praying umpteen times a day.

Muslims will go on and on and on about how its "The Truth" and the correct religion and they've seen the light blah blah blah.
But I think its because Muslims seem to have a drive for converting people to their religion. Misfits and losers and drifters who feel they have no purpose in life are drawn to this sort of thing for the sense of "belonging".
EDIT: I'm sick of Muslims on this site posting links to Islamic sites and telling people to convert. Its not part of my culture. I'm happy as a (nominal) Christian. I don't WANT to convert. I don't care about the "truth" about Islam. The only time I even think about Islam is when one of them blows up a bunch of civillians in London.
