I tend to graze all day rather than eat meals, although I do eat a light healthy meal in the evening. I am of average weight for my height and age but really want to cut down on the sweets I eat all day at work, sitting at a desk on a pc

i often crave for something sweet, so i make sure i always have something around that isn't too bad for me but will satisfy the craving. mini choolate bars or things like werthers original do the trick.

I tried cutting them out completely, but that just made me stressed and i ended up binging.

hope you find something that works for you. trial and error

Try fruit instead.

The cravings are caused when your blood sugar level drops. You want more sugar to bring it back up again. That works fine in the short run, but your blood sugar level looks like a bouncing ball. Fruit or a complex carbohydrate will take longer to get the sugar into your bloodstream, but the level will last longer. It takes a day or 2 to get the sugar out of your system, so be patient but persistent.

Give up all sugars and carbs for a solid 3 weeks. After that, you'll have no cravings for munchies. But, just like with smoking, you'll still have to deal with the addiction to the act (ie, with smoking, the addiciton will leave, but going out for a smoke break or holding a cig in your hand might still be habitual).

I'd say drink coffee, after you drink espresso, sweets and the likes dont style good, however you face another hindrance of being addicted to coffee. Just are attempting rationing it. Like 2 three a day, and begin slicing down from there. HOPE THAT HELPS!

Don't keep them at your desk! Chew gum instead or drink flavored water or have sugar free hard candies.

Also, if you stop cold turkey, it's hard for the first few days but after that you don't crave them at all!

I love sugar too. I find when you don't eat it, the glycogen level in your body drops and you don't crave it. It takes a couple of days.
