No, not big enough to destroy. Will damage, though.

Yes, and No.
The ASCM's owned by China and Iran had smaller warheads than the ones owned by Russian. These warheads are in the same catigory as French Exocet and US Harpoon missiles. These Missiles while having a comparable warhead, the guidance systems themselves are not as advanced.
Disregarding for a minute whether one of these missiles can get through the layered defences, lets look at what would happen if our carrier was hit by one of these missiles.
The US Carrier is one of the largest, most protected ships in the fleet. Others have answered that a hit on the munition storage area would destroy the carrier. The munitions magazines aboard carriers are deep within the bowels of the ship and the ASCMs posessed by China and Iran do not have the "Punch" to reach them. At most, there would be severe damage to the outer areas of the ship. That's the "no" part of my answer.
Now if there was a special evolution going on. Planes being armed up for a strike. A resupply at sea from another ship (In which there would be bombs and other ammo staged outside of the Magazines.) In this situation, the damage and fires that otherwise would not be fatal, could spread and cause even greater damage that results in a mass conflageration and loss of ship. this is the "yes" part.
Now back to whether the ASCM's can get through our defences.
Not very likely (But not impossible). Iran I believe would have the best chance to get one in on us based just on geography. The Strait of Hormuz is extremely narrow and a missile shot at us from there would give us very little reaction time to defeat the inbound missile. Our anti-air defence systems are the best in the world.
First indication would be from RADAR as the missile is detected or from the EWs if it was fired in close and the missile went active quickly. From there the EWs (Electronic Warfare Technitions) would start Jamming the missile guidance package and launching chaff decoys. Also your AAWC (Anti-Air Warfare Co-ordinator) aboard one of the Aegis Ships would order the battlegroup (Carriers never travel alone) to open fire with SAM's such as our SM-2ER Block IV missiles. these are very capable and would destroy most any inbound given enough reaction time.
As the ASCM gets closer it will be engaged by 5" and 3" deck guns from the escorting ships and finally with the Mk-15 Phalanx CIWS 20mm doppler radar guided gatling gun and Sea Sparrow Point Defence Missile.
Russia has some monsterous sized missiles that were designed to destroy our carriers but they are a thing of the past now. Most modern ASCMs are smaller in size though more capable. The warheads however just arent up to "blowing a carrier out of the water" Russia also has some newer missiles designed to give our defences nightmares trying to stop them. however to date these missile are NOT in the hands of China or Iran. There is talk that Russia may sell them to China (But not Iran). If China gets them, it would be a matter of time before China sells them to Iran. Iran desperately wants these missiles, called the SS-N-22 Sunburn ASCM.

Tristansdad has been reading too many tom clancy novels. A silkworm missle or the Iranian modified version that hit the right spot could sink a carrier. Of course it doesn't have to sink it, just damage it enough to make the decks unusable.

The navy is making plans to fly missions against Iran from the Med because of the risk posed by Iran's surface to sea missles. Seems to me that they have less than perfect confidence in their radar guided chain guns.

yes some cruise missiles are designed as anti ship missiles. it may take more than one but they can sink a carrier. and they have to get past the missile defense things in order to do any thing at all

The missile would be intercepted and destroyed (by anti-missile missiles or radar-guided chain guns) before it got close enough to the carrier to damage it.

Cruise missiles are two slow and would get shot down before they got close enough. They only fly as fast as jets.

(Edited answer) dukalink is right, a hit on the ammunitions compartment with any weapon will explode the ship and cause it to sink real fast.. I'm not sure about a/c carriers but probably they will sink as well.

those missiles have the firepower to sink even bigger ships, but i strongly believe that they have high-tech systems that help them to search and destroy any kind of missile... especially those long range ones that are relatively slow
