EASY - A snack that is healthy and kids LOVE - easier than cupcakes too.

All you need is dried apricots, sliced bananas, strawberries, cooking chocolate, and 15 minutes

Simply melt the choc in a bowl floating in hot water so you don't burn it.

When melted dip your fruits in half way, put on a non-stick paper towel to cool.

TIP - try do it the morning you take them to keep the banana extra fresh.

HEY PRESTO - kids love it.

ps - if the school thinks this is not healthy due to the chocolate, tell them it is carob from the health food store.

Have fun

hello,
I think it would be best if you purchase those juicy bites. My kid's school prefers sealed packages to home cooked items. Something with a store's tag from bakery can sometimes be ify. So just to be safe, i buy those bulk boxes with snacks with enough for all the kids.
best of luck
God bless

Ants on a Log is always a popular one. I get most of my recipes from allrecipes.com. Here is a link to a section they have called kids as chef - so your kids can help you make these snacks for their class. I click on appetizer to get you started but if none of these sound good to you there are many recipes to pick from.
