I try to avoid juices made from concentrates and purchase only those that say "Not from Concentrate" on the label. However, I find that the orange juice, although I keep it refrigerated, become "chalky" and thicken after being opened for less than 2 days. I usually freeze it and drink it like a slurpy although it does have a slightly spoiled smell and taste. Is this safe to do? Are these juices "pure" or do they contain an additive not stated on the box?

Chunky o.j. ewwwww. I think your fridge is bad. If not, maybe try a different brand? Or just make your own fresh orange juice.
