Can someone answer this for me, please?

Question

I saw my friend on Sunday. He dropped by unexpectedly. We talked for about 2 hours. He had told me 4 months ago that he wanted to move our relationship forward. When I saw him on Sunday, I asked him if things had changed between us. He told me if anything his feelings for me had grown deeper. I then asked him if he would like to start dating. He said yes. He then told me that he needed the assurance from me that was what I wanted us to do.

Did I do the right thing by asking him if he wanted to start dating? We have known each other for about a year. I was floored when he told me that his feelings for me had grown stronger. I told hm that my feelings had done the same and that I was crazy about him.

When a man tells you that his feeling have grown deeper for you, is this a good thing? His exact words were that "if anything," his feelings have grown deeper for me.

I am feeling a little scared and overwhelmed by all of this. He is very shy and I am too.

If he said exactly that then that's what he feel...he has strong feelings for u, and u seem to have feelings for him too. So go out and see what happens. Its only natural for you to feel overwhelmed by whats happened. Don't worry. Hope u guys have a great time!!!!!

when to love of someone, its true that the feeling of need grow stronger every seconds of a minute but loyalty is needed to be given by two party. where trust, understanding, and care are neccesary to be share between each other.
but a word of cautious as never to believe of what you see with your eyes, as truth maybe deceiving from the sight. where might just be a wolf under a lamb skin.
