he either calls me every other day or text message or something..he also always wants to know how my weekend went or what i am doing this weekend

It sounds like he valued your relationship and does still care very much for you, maybe not in a romantic way though.
If you feel you can, you should be his friend and move on with your life. Just be careful that he doesn't begin to control you with his thoughts and actions. Like, you don't want him getting jealous and making you feel bad about dating and seeing other people.
Sometimes people can't let go until they know you are happy especially if they feel guilt about the break up. Either way he sounds like a nice guy, just don't read too much into it.

It could go both ways. He could be just checking on you because of the history you have both had or he could be checking to see if you found someone else. I broke up with my ex a couple of months ago. He too, calls me every other day and says he is coming over. When he comes over he never has anything really to say. Stays for about 2 seconds and leaves. Says he will call me later because he has something to tell me. Then when he calls he never really says anything. It's just an excuse to keep checking on me.

If i call an ex or text him i care one way or another. Sometimes its that i really miss that person and sometimes I want to get back with him. Other times I'm checking up on him. I don't want him but I dont want anyone else to have him either. You could just ask him whats up...?

Either he's trying to be friends or he wants you back. Or, he just wants to check up on you and make sure you're not dating. Tell him you went on a date and see how he takes it. If he's genuinely happy for you then cool, if he pitches a fit, then tell him to jump off a cliff. He could be still trying to control you.

I think that your ex is trying to see if there's anyone new in your life. That's why he ask you about your weekend. Yes, I do think that your ex still likes you. Seem obvious to me

i have the same problem, constantly bein bombarded wit texts askin if im ok,goin wit anyone blah blah blah, the answer to your question is yes, he stil likes u, which isnt a bad thing, thougn very annoyin! either set him straight and say to stop textin etc, or cut him out!! (avoid calls and stuff) aint anice thing to do but it works!!

Maybe he doesn't want you to be with anyone else. Cant let go. I had this with an ex.....just ignore him! It'll stop!

i would say he still likes you!!!! no guys really do that unless they really like the person they were with.....
so girl just ask him straight out and if you still like him u know give him a shot who knows if u end up with him the rest of your life??????
