Been dating this guy for 2 months now.....HE IS PERFECT!!!!Went to dinner last night, got to the restruant and he got out of the car with a bouquet of flowers, pink, yellow and red....so pretty. He was like, I was thinking about you all day and just thought I would get you some flowers! We ate and then we went to my house, talked and he gave me a hand massage, back massage, leg massage, foot massage you name it. We did some kissing....nothing more then that has happened in the last 2 months, which I think is great, neither of us is rushing it. We hung out until 2 in the morning, . He was telling me that usually he knows with in the first month whether it is going somewhere, and that he really doesnt think that anything is going to go wrong with us to make him uninterested in me. He is talking very futuristic, planning months in advance. I am nervous because I dont want to get all excited only to be disappointed and hurt later...how do I prevent this?

There's nothing wrong with talking about the future and no guarantee you won't get hurt. That's a part of life.

However, in order to really be sure you'll need to encounter some rough patches. How the two of you handles disagreements and problems will really be a better gauge of your ability to maintain a long relationship.

You can talk about the future, but keep it there until you're relationship shows it can withstand life's trials.

i would advise you to stop thinking so much and enjoy it. you have 2 choices. either sit back and enjoy it all or worry the whole time and miss out on all of the excitement. if you 2 arent together 3 months from now at least you were treated like a princess for a while. life is for living and as we go alone our hearts are broken and we learn from our mistakes.just enjoy it.
good luck to you both. he sounds really great

Tell him that although you are very interested in him too, you think that maybe you should just take this relationship one day at a time right now. 2 months isn't really a long time. Explain to him exactly how you feel, and that you would like to see this develop a little more slowly.

You know.. you never know when a guy is playing you or not. Don't do anything you would regret later until you're SURE he's the one. You won't get hurt unless you give him your heart .. don't tell him too much and don't show TOO much love because if he dumps you, you'll be shattered. Never love a guy more than he loves you then you won't get hurt.

Don't make any promises. Start every planning-for-the-future sentence with "if." Ex: "If, we get married, we'll..." "If we're still together..."

Just take things as they come, and tell him that all this planning for the future worries you.
