Select 'Tools' from the menu bar, then click AutoCorrect Options. Select the 'AutoFormat As You Type' tab. Under 'Replace as you type', clear the 'Internet and network paths with hyperlinks' check box.

highlight the link, hold down Ctrl and hit the number 6
