Yeah, I've noticed that, too. I mean, this is the religion and spirituality section so it really belongs in the discussions here. However some folks like to bring it up regarding discussions and questions that are completely unrelated I've noticed. For some people perhaps religion is the answer to everything....although judging by their answers they usually don't actually answer the question.
So I understand what you are talking about and while I'd like to say I have an answer for you, the truth is I have no real answer. I cannot say why people do some of the things they do. However, I can say that if I'm asked a question about religion/spirituality then I'll answer that and if I'm asked a question about music or something then I'll try to make sure to answer the question (afterall even if some of the music I listen to is religious in nature I can still answer the question like "what's a sixteenth note?" without needing to bring up religion).
Peace be with you.

Hell isn't used to threaten atheists, because of the fact atheists don't think in hell. that's like threatening an grownup with the wrath of Santa Claus. you're draw close of non-Judeo-Christian faith is extremely defective. i does no longer equate rebirth to hell. on an identical time as Hindus attempt to flee the cycle of reincarnation, existence isn't torture, and rebirth isn't a punishment. In Wicca, rebirth isn't considered negatively in any respect and that they haven't any opt to flee it. and distinctive cultures, on an identical time as having eternal punishments for the certainly wicked, don't have this form of place for the conventional individual. faith is approximately our dating with our gods, whoever those may well be. despite if Hell grew to become into the rationalization human beings have been faith, "hell-worship" is mindless in any respect. seem "worship" up interior the dictionary.

This section IS reserved for religion and spiritually based questions. As for the rest of Yahoo Answers, I can only imagine it's kids with too much free time on their hands or adults who are bored, self-centered, hateful individuals who don't care who they hurt or offend.

Firstly, this is the forum for religion and spirituality.
Secondly, religion sheds light on all dark brains for their glorious life.
Thirdly, religion is really everything.
Fourtly, religion teaches people to bear your impatience and to drink your bitter words (hell, ppl, boring...)
Fiftly, if it is not religion, what can teach you to be polite?

Well this is the religion section. I don't have a problem with people using religion in their answers because it obviously affects their opinions but i resent it when i see people using religion under the politics section. Religion and state should be separate.

Sorry, my english is not so good.
In Europe you talk very seldom about religion. What people believe or not is a private thing to us. When I have been to the USA it was strange to me, that everybody wants to talk about religion, especially about Jesus Christ.
I think to believe is not the same as knowledge. I cannot discuss about something, that is really not a fact. Because nobody knows, if there is a god or not.

Because Western culture didn't produce it's own god and religion, so they have to justify their civilisation as being very advanced and very clever..

Won't get u wrong , but I do! Most people haven't actually learned to think at that level in order to use their intelligentsia............so this facilitates emotional responses under the guise of something else..shall I go on? I didn't think so!
