I was wanting to do my own senior pictures with my digital camera.

I've seen some GREAT engagement photos done by non-professionals with digital cameras!! If they can do it, so can you! Besides next year no one will care who did you pictures.

Wow! That must be kind of hard to take your own, but then again all you really need is a tripod and selftimer turned on the camera, anyways, I don't think the American flag is really apropriet for your senior pics, its gonna end up looking like a navy portrait. I think your senior pictures should have a fun, young, and energetic feel to them. I just took my friends senioro pics and we went down to a grass feild with sun setting in the back, then we went to some rail road tracks. The pictures that I took by the tracks were really nice in black and white. Hope this helped!
