All you can really do is put up fences and post "No Trespassing" signs at regular intervals. Shooting trespassers is illegal unless they have broken into your house, and you don't want to use attack dogs to chase people off because you'll get sued if the dogs injure anyone. If you put up fences and signs and you still have problems, you'll just have to call the police every time you catch someone on your property without permission.

check make sure there are no easements post signs at 100 ft intervals when you see someone trespassing call your police dept would help a description of the vehicle if they drive forget the taking the law into your own hands at the end they could sue you

Well trained dogs and alway prosecute when you find someone on your property or they wont take you seriously. Try going out on your property at random times youll be amazed what good it will do just by changing your pattern of how you drive home.

Step two - post your property with no trespassing signs.
