Just because you don't like Jimmy Cricket doesn't make Aaron a moron- it just means you have good taste.

My name is Erin, which is different than Aaron. Aaron comes from judaism, and Erin from irish. Aaron is usually reserved for boys, as Erin is for girls. So, while it is technically not my name, I feel as though I should stick up for it.
Someone's name has nothing to do with their personality. I have known several Aaron's, many of them nice, intelligent, and good natured. Likewise, I have known several Erin's, many of them nice, intelligent, and good natured. Of course, names have nothing to do with it.
So, I have to conclude that you're a moron, you're rude, and you're just looking for a fight. Is it possible that you're jealous of the name, and you want it for yourself? Is it possible that you just need to go find something useful to do? Is it possible that you're just ridiculously hateful? Whatever the case may be, don't make sweeping generalizations about something so trivial as a name, don't try to make people feel bad about what their name is, and finally, go find something else to do, you bigot.

its probably a refelction on the parents
some may have called their son Aaron after the religion - and are probably not idiots
however the rampant spread of daft names (inherited from America) I was told a while back there there a specific names that secondary school teachers look out for as problem children (forget them all but Wayne,Sharon and tracy seem to stand out)
anything daft like Brooklyn!

I think you'll find that it is in fact a problem with your self image. The Aaron's you met were so vastly superior to you in every way that you needed to create a negative mental image of them to make yourself seem somewhat adequate.

No. The problem may lie with you. I have met people
with the name of Phil and they couldn't hold a thought much less carry on a conversation.

It can't be genetic because it's a first name. I put it down to an inflated sense of importance by having a name will come first alphabetically every time.

Most people I met named Phil are farmers. Is that genetic or something?
