He's a figment of your imagination, he has never shown up and he never makes his presence felt unless you're psychotic (in which case you also see Yogi Bear).

Why are you people so afraid of the truth?

Funny, you would mention TRUTH. God is the god of TRUTH. He sets down precepts and principles and if you take them out into the world for TESTING which any good researcher will do, guess what happens? THEY WORK! They are genuine and faithful too. They do not EVER, EVER fail. How about that for a reason to believe in God. It is factual, almost tangible, and always consistent.

Truth is absolute. You cannot make an opinion truth. Truth when whole and complete cannot be made into something else, nor can you add more truth to it to make it even MORE truthful. It is whole and complete, absolute.

Figments of the imagination? No, not when you take the ideas out into the working, everyday world and you try them out to see if they work or fail. It becomes factual to you then. Imagination works best when you need "magick!" For Christians, it becomes reality and should.,,,just as much as any theory which is tested, repeated, tested and works out every time. It ceases to be theory at that point and becomes an absolute.

Never will. Why? That's just their beliefs. Just like you believe no god exists. Or like how I believe that a god and goddess are entwined representations of the whole universe. There's always going to be many groups of people believing many different things. It's just that there is no solid proof that everyone can accept for whether there is any gods (or how many). THAT'S the truth.

Christians do not fear the truth, they should relish it; God is truth. One of the reasons they should relish it, is man is a false god (Gen. 3).
That is one of the reasons apparently for being set apart, separated, holy, consecrated; being in the world but not of the world'.(One witness verses God's way of two or more witnesses', (Matt. 18:16, 2 Cor 13: for Christians; the Jews mentioned about 3 times between Deut. 10-20).

One person's truth is another person's lie. Why
are you so bent on insulting another's belief. What's it to you if someone believes in a god? What
they believe in shouldn't affect you in the least.
I am an agnostic and many of my friends are
christians but I don't let their belief bother me
and they accept my views.

I am Christian (Roman Catholic, but that's less important than being Christian). I have been growing in my faith for about 5 years (I'm 18 years & 10 months old, so 5 years is b/w 1/4 & 1/3 of my life).
My faith is a huge part of my life. When people attack my faith, it feels like they are attacking ME, and it hurts.

I don't know if that's what you are trying to do, but that's the effect. When I feel like I am being attacked, it's harder for me to be open to other's ideas.

I just wanted you to know.

Peace.

When will the non-believers finally realize that there is a God and that he is the creator of this Earth? When? When it is too late and you are already paying eternally for your disbelief?

Jesus IS the Truth, the Way, the Life.

It is you who are afraid, partner.
You do not have to be afraid of Jesus.
