i fractured my growth plate in my ankle about 1 year ago. then, as soon as it was healed, i stress fractured it, in the same spot . The orthapedic dr. told me that it was healed, but may hurt acasionally. It always hurts really bad when it is raining or right before it rains. please tell my why it only hurts during or before rain. sorry for any spelling errors. I predict that there is a huge rain storm comming!

it's the air pressure change. my mom's wrist starts hurting everytime it's going to rain or snow. it's almost like a weather forecaster. she calls me up and says, "my wrist is hurting. It's going to rain (or snow.)" and she's always right!

I ve broken my ankle twice last time about an inch above the first time now everytime it rains it aches so badly. I haven t found anyway to ease that ache either it hurts so dang bad too... and if all these other helpful ppl are telling the truth I have arthritis in my ankle to look forward to :( yay

lol, I have the same problem. It is basically because it is cold that your ankle hurts. The cold bothers people who's bones are not strong. You will probably end up with arthritis in your ankle once you get older.

It hurts because any bone, joint put together after being broken will never be like it was before. You will always feel pain, more or less. I had knee surgery and I'm fine now, but I can feel a slight pain in my knee when the temperature and weather changes.

well it could be arthritis but foe some reazon everytime one has had surgery or a fracture bone it hurts on rainny days. It happens a lot in my family. Ask your doc for a concrete answer.

Usually a pain that changes with the weather is a joint problem. Sometimes changes in temperature and humidity causes the joints to swell or shrink, depending on the weather. Sounds like you have a joint problem. See your doctor, have him put you on some anti-inflammatory medication.

it has to do with precipitation.it is like arthritis,people with arthritis hurt when it is cold or damp.it just irritates our bad muscles when it is groggy feeling outside or when it is cold because they kind of get stiff.my shoulder blade does it too,but unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it!sorry!
