Clearly, since you can't spell piece, you don't think. But to answer your question the Ford Mondeo is clearly a superior car. I've even heard a rumour that The AA are too embarrassed to tow Toyota's back to the home address.

undoubtedly the toyota the mondeo suffers from the front coil springs breaking and puncturing the tyre also rear subframe bushes fall apart front wheel bearings are prone to go yet not of these are prone on the avensis ps i drive a toyota wouldn,t touch a ford you,ll allways be paying out .ps AND THE HANDBRAKE HAS A PROBLEM OF NOT HOLDING ON ALL THE TIME NEW LEVER REQUIRED.in reply to the mondeo owners i own a corolla compressor with 230bhp this is no car for the elderly or a mondeo owner. you;ve read the sign THE CAR IN FRONT IS A TOYOTA,well thats always the case when i pass a mondeo not to mention the amount you see broken down on the side of the road now taken over from the good old metro!!:-)

Mondeo. The Avensis is the most tedious, bland, flabby car on the road. Sure it's reliable but that's all it has going for it. The Mondeo isn't thrilling but is significantly better to drive than the Toyota, and also perfectly adequate in terms of reliability. One word of caution though, buy one about 6-12 months old so someone else has taken the depreciation.

just about anything that has the ford logo is a nogo.fords are junk . no comparison to a toyota. i'm an american. but i'm also pissed at what the car manufacturers are doing to the public. mostly the loyal that buy some car that costs way too much. and the vehicle is put together to self destruct.they make the parts like crap. and they make em expensive. for what a part consists of.they also engineer them to go together in layers that are very difficult to repair. all this **** comes up to high cost parts and labor which puts the car in the junk pile earlier. and theoretically a new piece of **** is purchased . for more money?

toyota is one of the most boring makes of car on the road! i drive a lot as part of my job and i dont mind being behind any car as long as it isnt a toyota. normally driven by some little old pensioner or by some taxi driver who cuts you up. the ford costs a lot less to maintain, less to buy and are normally driven by a better class of person. i know this cos i drive a 1996 mondeo (which cost me £60 to buy and has given me absolutely no problems in the 6 months i have owned it), when i am not working!

I run 60 ford mondeos as taxis in Liverpool, they have virtually no maintenance other than cam belts and oil changes and I expect 300,000 out of each of them. I have had one rover 400 that got to 400,000 but that gave trouble in its last year. The Toyota is a good car but i like the Ford, good ride and well made for its price.
