Seek out some professional help. There are free mental health clinics in most cities. It sounds like you just have some adjusting to do from the war. If I were in your shoes, I would seek out some help and get some relief. Why go on suffering like this ? This isn't because of something you did. It is probably from all you saw and had to deal with during the war. You may be suffering from Post Tramatic Stress Syndrom .. or something similar. Take the first step and phone around in your community for low cost or free mental health services. Good luck to you .. and thank you for serving our Country ! .. By the way, you are not alone with this problem , I am hearing this from a lot of guys returning from this war . It was a brutal experience.

My husband had the same issue (made married life great for a while...lol) You need to take this seriously. Find someone you can vent to....be it a counselor (which should be available to you) or a priest or a good friend. My husband also would just go and run until he couldn't anymore whenever he got mad (which was a lot and he's a really mellow person normally) Don't worry that you'll have issues with work b/c you go see someone. I know alot of guys that everyone knows is going to the chaplain and noone has said anything bad and noone has had any negative consequences. (This is in an infantry unit too)
Good luck! Please get some help....there've been too many lives destroyed over this war already and you don't want yours to be one of them.

Aren't you military? Didn't you get specific briefings on this, and what to do about it? Contact (if active) the medical unit, if Guard or Reserve your unit for guidance. If civilian agency sent you, them...Workmans Comp. These are possibly symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, a VERY common problem in this conflict.

first and foremost, thank you for all you have sacrificed. I'm very sorry that you have to go through even more stress now that you are home. I have never been in your shoes so I don't really have any advice. Good luck and best wishes
