10 months ago, i gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. I love every minuite of being a mum axcept one thing. Before i got pregnant, i was in good shape and happy with the way my body looked, now, im covered in stretchmarks and have a 'chicken skin' belly. It was stretched so much that it now looks awful. My partner says he still loves me but my body was the main attraction when we first got together (he is shallow). I dont feel good about myself at all now. Is there anythni i can do to help it look better? ive even hired a personal trainer but limited on the exercise i can do due to knee injury. Please help as its really getting me down. Also, for blokes, do u find woman with a few extra curves attractive?

As for celebs, haven't you noticed that even Victoria Beckham doesn't show her midriff anymore? Losing weight is one thing, but the floppy belly is another. Stretch marks and "chicken skin" will improve gradually with time, but it may take a lot of time (several years at least).

If this still is an issue once you have finished adding to your family, you may want to investigate a tummy tuck. It's the only quick solution.

Listen..your "chicken skin" or lose skin retracts...10 months is not that long ago..give your body time to adjust itself. and then start working out again..take the baby out for a afternoon stroll...watch what you eat and drink plenty of water. if your skin does not retract talk to your doctor (not a plastic surgen they will want you to go right under the knife) about anything you can do. I belive Tanning helps the streatch marks along with coco butter? and hey a water bed is always more comfertable than a stone bed...if you catch my drift. but when you find yourself beautiful that is when you'll be happy.

Well, all you can do is exercise unlesss you have a money tree outside to get plastic suregery. I am the same as you, my first born left me with strech marks and a bit of a flap hanging over my pants. Exercise won't do anything for it, so I just have to deal with it. My husband still loves me and my new body, so I deal with it the best i can.

Drink a lot of water and tea. It will clear out your body of toxins and bad foods. Eat very healthfully--salad, soup, etc. Diet is a great thing to do when you don't feel good about yourself, as long as you're safe about it.

My fiance and I have dated during all of my highest weights--and I'm DEFINITELY never going to be thin, regardless of my current efforts. He always says that he likes a girl who looks curvy and healthy, and all of my best male friends tend to agree. If your boyfriend starts treating you differently (negatively) because you had his child, I personally would reconsider the relationship.

Hi
Being pregnant changes your body and makes it different but it doesnt make you unattractive.
Lots of men like curvy women, as many if not more than like slim women, and wont mind round tummies, curvy hips and all the other things that come with pregnancy and beyound

GET HIM OUT OF THERE!!!!! you gave birth. its not like you ate and gained the weight..you gave birth something the size of a potato sack came out of a lemon. so i would love for men to go through what we have to during pregancy. and i am sure he knew that your body wouldnt be the same as it was before you got pregnant. so i hope you get a back bone and stand up for yourself.

The BEST way to a man's heart is through his gal's stomach!

The bird of war is the hawk.

The bird of love is the swallow.
