I ran into my ex-boyfriend at the grocery store yesterday.I heard some one say hey, turned around and there he was. I haven't seen him in 11 years and was so shocked that I really couldn't carry a conversation with him other then telling him that I am married with 2 kids. He told me that he just had his first born 4 months ago but said that he wasn't marrying the mother because she didn't want to get married. I was fumbling for words and shaking and just said it was good to see you and told him I had to go. After I left the store all of the memories came back to me and now they are driving me crazy. I wonder if I should have said more or tried to ask for a way to contact him to catch up. I haven't thought about him in years and now I can't get him out of my mind. We were high school sweethearts and so in love then. What I wonder is since him seeing me, is it driving him crazy like it is driving me crazy. hmmm...to be 16 again!

You aren't 16 anymore though, are you? You have a husband and two kids. You are remembering the good stuff, and forgetting any bad stuff. If you had been meant to be with him wouldn't it have worked out that way? Go home and make passionate love... to your husband. Fantasy lovers are always perfect because they are a FANTASY.

don't contact him. My first love( which was emotionally the most passionate and intimate relationship i've ever had) brought his wife to the church he and i attended once. I was still single. It about killed me to see him w/his wife. We shook hands and it was almost serial. I cna't recall our conversation because inside i was shaky. We said goodbye and then i went into the bathroom stall and wept. I would never get in touch w/him--he has moved on and now I am married and have a beautiful daughter. What once was can never be again....i just have fond memories now and hope he does too. You can't be 16 again.....

No youre married and hes moved on. It was 11 yrs ago. Get over it. Sometimes you run into people thats life. I doubt hes really thinking about you like that. Do you think either of your signifigant others would appreciate further contact? I bet not. Sounds a bit obsessive.

I would say probably so!
I remember running into mine about 4 yrs ago man it was tough to stop thinking about him. Then we ran into each other again and he told me he couldnt stop thinking about me. I felt like a teenager again, but then I remembered hey I am married with two children and I love my husband. I came back from the past. There is nothing wrong with remembering the past or having "feelings" just dont act on them. Unless.......

You sound like a psychotic *****. I feel bad for your husband. All it takes for you to have deceitful thoughts is to run into an ex lover you haven't seen for...11 YEARS?!? Jesus Christ what is wrong with you

What part of your wedding vows don't you understand?
You are married now. That means your mind, heart, and soul should be given to your husband, and your husband's given to you.
Grow up and put the past behind you.
