Well I’m Egyptian but am going to tell you that Africa is awesome; you got too many choices so go with the best prices you find.
Morocco is charming especially Casablanca.
Tunisia is wonderful and the people are amazing.
Tanzania is awesome especially the camping in the wild a little expensive but very exciting and an unforgettable life time experience
Am not to going to be biased but Egypt has an advantage that you can have 3 different types of tourism:
1.Sight seeing: the Pyramids, Sphinx and the Egyptian museum in greater Cairo and the Whole Pharos touristic sights in Luxour and Aswan.
2.Sea side: Sharm El-Sheikh [Sinai] & Hurgada [red sea] man these are incredible.
3.Cultural: in Greater Cairo if you’re interested in one of the biggest metropolitan cities in the world and you get to know a lot about the Egyptians life style and pop culture.

Egypt and Morocco, because they have many historic sites that I would like to see. They are also some of the friendlier and less disease-ridden countries to visit in Africa. Since they are highly touristed, I figure that they are relatively safe and that I will be able to more easily organize a trip (like travel will be easy and I could book many things through the Internet).

Just because I am curious ! Funny enough South Africa does not interest me that much.
