like everyone else said YES....and salt is in the weirdest places...like in soda...that's why too much of that is not good...if you're a Pepsi or Coke nut..cut back to say no more than 2 a day...drink the good pure stuff like milk..water...apple juices....but read the sodium level...that's the salt.....example...if you like hotdogs did you ever see the amount of sodium ithat is in one of them?!!!..OH MY GOD...read the label....you may have to pay more but if you really need a hotdog..check out ones like Healthy Choice....

yes
it will take it very high if to much salt is given
remember that most foods are already made with salt in them.
and that makes you blood sugar and pressure high.
read the can labels and see how much salt intake there is and then judge for your self if that's to much salt in take for you.
my opinion is anything over 5 grams it much to high.

Salt will cause water retention. Imagine a water balloon....put more water in it....more water equals more pressure. So salt will cause higher blood pressure.

A normal individual without heart, kidney disease or hypertension would not get hypertension from salt. Low salt is indicated for these conditions.
